Very hard to pick they are ALL so beautiful and for so many different reasons. But, my favorite is number 19. I love the motion that is depicted in this photo as well as the exposure of sun light. Beautiful summer morning!
Good luck!

I think 11 and 23 have the best lighting, best composition, and feel like summer.

Numbers 12 & 19 (fishing boy and laundry) evokes summertime best for me… but the large rocks in #1 references mystical standing stones for me, making it more than a landscape.

OK. Thanks for everyone’s input. It was tough. I went with #11 in 1st, #23 in 2nd, and #19 in 3rd! If you’re interested, here’s the photo and thread that I entered, won 2nd place, and when the 1st place guy did not submit a contest in time, I was asked to judge the next round. There were some great photos in this round, the theme of which was “Cityscape.” I entered a “townscape” of Nantucket, and surprised to place.

These are, by the way, just for fun and learning.

I was writing to vote for #11 but see the vote was in. All great stuff, but I thought #11 was the best “Summer” one too.
Your 2nd place photo was a beauty. Congratulations. Your a great photographer.
