Thanks Maria. There’s all kinds of things about that photo that makes it not work: the bench in the foreground, the barrel distortion, the blown out highlights. But I like it too.
Not work… hmmm. The bench puts you in the room, the barrel distortion gives dimension and notes the solace. What “Works” is what touches people not a technical definition. I think if that photo were a painting it would be viewed as “working”
